The 8cm diameter is just right for my countertop without taking over the whole shelf, and the 17cm height fits a full bag of loose-leaf tea with room to spare. I've been using it for coffee beans instead and the unlabelled surface keeps things looking clean and minimal.
The height is perfect for my kitchen shelf—17cm doesn't tower over everything but still holds a good amount of loose tea. Lid fits snugly, so I'm not worried about freshness. Exactly the size I was hoping for.
Finally found a tin that fits a full 100g pouch without the leaves getting crushed at the bottom. The 8cm diameter is perfect for my countertop and the height means I can even store a small scoop on top. Feels sturdy enough to survive being knocked around in my cupboard, which is more than I can say
