A traditional ceramic stand (kusenaoshi or chasen naoshi) to care for your bamboo matcha whisk (chasen) used to prepare matcha. It is designed to help maintain or reshape the perfect curve of your whisk's tines.

If your whisk loses its shape – soak for ten minutes in warm water then place gently over the stand to reshape the tines. The stand can also be used to store your whisk between uses. (The whisk should never be left resting downwards on its tines, unless on a stand).

Dishwasher safe.

If you live in a humid climate, please don’t leave your whisk on its stand - simply leave it standing on its base, with tines facing upwards. This allows the air to circulate for the whisk to dry properly between uses.
