Broken Cloud Iced Tea

Brewed a pitcher this morning and let it chill for a few hours—the floral notes stayed bright and fragrant even cold, which is rare for black tea. The leaves from that high forest region really do make a difference. This is now my go-to for hot afternoons.

The floral aroma hits you the second the bag opens—so fragrant it feels like a bouquet in a tin. Steeped cold overnight, it’s smooth and refreshing, the Himalayan leaves holding their character without any bitterness. I’ve already ordered a second batch, and I rarely do that.

I brew a big batch every morning and pour it over ice around noon—the fragrance stays floral and lively even stone cold. The leaves from that high forested Himalayan garden make a surprisingly smooth, non-bitter iced tea, which is exactly what I wanted.
