Dieser wunderbar ausgewogene japanische lose Blattgrüntee wird aus den Blättern und Stängeln des hochwertigsten Gyokuro hergestellt. Er stammt von dem kleinen, aber legendären Bio-Bauernhof der Familie Sakamoto.

Karigane bedeutet übersetzt 'Wildgans' - angeblich, weil die blasse Farbe der Stängel gegen das grüne Blatt wie Wildgänse aussieht, die in den Ästen von Bäumen sitzen.

Er ist auch als Stängeltee, Kukicha oder Zweigtee bekannt.
