伝統的な陶器製のスタンド（くせなおし または 茶筅なおし）で、 竹製の茶筅（ (ちゃせん）のお手入れに。茶筅の穂先の美しいカーブを保ち、整えるためのアイテムです。
茶筅の形が崩れてしまったら – ぬるま湯に10分ほど浸し、そっとスタンドにのせて穂先の形を整えます。スタンドは使用の合間に茶筅を保管するのにもお使いいただけます。（茶筅は、スタンドにのせている場合を除き、穂先を下にして置いたままにしないでください。）
食器洗い機対応。
湿度の高い気候にお住まいの方は、茶筅をスタンドに置いたままにせず、穂先を上に向けて立てた状態で置いてください。そうすることで空気が循環し、使用の合間に茶筅がしっかり乾燥します。
