Mug Infuser

When you’re using this loose leaf tea infuser, you won't need an additional tea strainer. It holds back even the finest particles of leaf.

We highly recommend using this tea infuser over a tea strainer ball or one of those tea ball clips or tubes. This is because your dry loose leaf tea needs as much room as possible to rehydrate. The best flavours come from amino acids in the leaf that dissolve into the water - for this to happen your loose leaf tea leaves need to unfurl and reveal every millimetre of surface area. If they are cramped in a teabag, tea ball, or tea tube, you can't get the best flavour from your tea.

If you happen to have a teapot made for teabags (one that doesn’t have a plate behind the spout to hold back loose leaf tea) you can pop this tea infuser inside the pot to keep the tea leaves from clogging the spout.
