The tea and vanilla orchids flourish together in an agroforestry garden. Nestled under Adams Peak in the Erathna Valley, the garden is located on an abandoned tea farm that has been left to re-wild for over 130 years.
The grove under Adam's Peak really comes through in the cup—there's a soft, earthy depth behind the vanilla that I haven't found in other flavored blacks. It steeps up velvety smooth without any bitterness, even when I forget it for an extra minute.
The orchids really do carry through in the dry leaves and the cup, giving it this soft, natural sweetness that isn't at all artificial. I've been brewing a pot every afternoon since it arrived, and it's become my favorite quiet ritual without fail.
The vanilla note is subtle but present, weaving through the black tea instead of overpowering it. I love that it comes from an agroforestry garden under Adams Peak — feels like a small taste of the Erathna Valley in every cup.
