In one of our most requested classes, Henrietta (@raretealady) is joined by Richard Hart (@richardhartbaker) to explore pairing foods with our delicious tea.

Henrietta and Richard make a wonderful team for their love of tea, food and flavour is unparalleled.

Richard is not known as the World’s Best Baker for nothing. He bakes his legendary sourdough at Hart Bageri in Copenhagen. An East Londoner he came to Denmark (lured by his business partner Rene Redzepi of Noma) by way of California but is still very British in his love of tea and toast and tealadies.

Henrietta has worked with many of the best chefs and restaurants across the globe to pair tea for tasting menus and has collaborated with celebrated pastry chefs to create the iconic Afternoon Teas like Claridge's in London.

They'll be tasting and pairing:

When you sign up for tickets we’ll give you the food pairings details so that you can taste along.

Julian L. ★★★★★

Henrietta and Richard have such easy chemistry that the hour flew by, and I came away with a whole new list of tea and food combos to try at home. The way they broke down the reasoning behind each pairing made it feel less like a lecture and more like a fun dinner party.

Nicholas ★★★★★

The live tasting with Henrietta and Richard was such a treat—they made the whole thing feel personal, not just a lecture. I actually learned why a bold oolong works better with dark chocolate than most reds.

Owen ★★★★★

I've watched a lot of online classes but this one stands out because Henrietta and Richard actually taste the pairings live rather than just talking theory. The way they break down why a particular tea works with a specific food really clicked for me.
