The saucer is surprisingly light and delicate, but feels sturdy enough for daily use. You can tell the leaf pattern was painted by hand because each stroke has a slight variation that makes it feel one-of-a-kind. My morning tea tastes better in this cup, and it's become my favorite ritual.
The saucer has a lovely weight to it, and the hand-painted cloud detail is even more delicate in person than in the photos. I feel like I’m treating myself to a proper tea ritual every time I use it, and it’s held up beautifully through daily washing.
I was a bit nervous ordering china online, but the weight and finish of this cup feel genuinely luxurious. You can see the brushstrokes in the hand-applied leaf pattern up close, and it's survived two dishwasher cycles without a single chip.
