The pellets unroll into a surprisingly sweet, mellow cup—nothing bitter even after a longer steep. Ilam's high-altitude character really comes through, tasting far more refined than any standard gunpowder I've tried. This is my new go-to for quiet mornings.
The deep, almost smoky aroma of these hand-rolled pearls unfolds beautifully after the third steep, and the liquor stays sweet without a hint of bitterness. It’s a rare treat you can taste the craftsmanship in, and I’m already rationing my stash.
The little hand-rolled pearls from the Nepali hills are so tightly packed it takes a couple of steeps to fully unfurl, but once they do, the brew is incredibly smooth with a deep, almost savory richness. This is the kind of tea that makes you slow down and appreciate every single sip.
