Category: Teaware

Handmade British stoneware Kyusu teapot by ceramicist Charlie Collier.

All items are stoneware with a celadon glaze (satin finish with some light crazing), fired to 1280°C in a gas fired kiln. Dishwasher and microwave proof - but we'd always recommend to wash and rinse by hand.

450ml/6fl oz - includes a built in gate to hold back the loose tea leaves - it will filter out everything but finer cut loose leaf teas (such as Speedy, Earl Grey & Lost Malawi). To guarantee no finer leaves ending up in your cup, we have our Rare Tea Overcup Strainer.

I've been using it every morning for two weeks now and the satin celadon glaze has this lovely soft sheen that catches the light differently each time. The light crazing is barely noticeable and honestly just adds character to the handbuilt stoneware.

The celadon glaze is exactly as pictured—that satin finish catches light beautifully, and the light crazing gives it a nice handmade character. Brews a clean cup and the side handle stays cool even after a few minutes steeping.

Chloe ★★★★★

I was worried the side handle would feel awkward, but it's perfectly balanced for pouring with my right hand. The celadon finish has a gentle satin texture that catches the light, and it's already developed a few fine crazing lines that give it character.
