The stoneware walls hold heat beautifully, so my oolong gets three solid infusions before it even thinks about cooling down. The shape makes pouring effortless, no drips down the side. This is my new daily driver for gongfu sessions.
I've been using this gaiwan every morning for a week and the stoneware holds heat beautifully for those short steeps. The handmade texture gives it a nice grip in my hand, and clean-up is quick since there's no glaze to stain. Already eyeing the matching cup to go with it.
The lip is just the right thickness for sipping without dribbling, and the stoneware feels solid in my hand. It’s become my daily go-to for oolong sessions, handling the quick steep-and-pour rhythm perfectly.
