The gaiwan fits my palm perfectly, and the lid’s pour is smooth enough that I haven’t spilled a drop even on my wobbly train table. The little case keeps everything snug and rattling-free, so I can finally brew proper tea at my desk without hauling a whole kit around.
The carrying case is what sold me—I’ve tossed it in my backpack twice this week and nothing’s chipped or rattled loose. The gaiwan itself feels sturdy in hand, and the spout pours clean enough that even my shaky morning pour doesn’t end up all over the table.
The pour is so controlled with this gaiwan—even my shaky morning hands didn't spill a drop. It's compact enough to toss in my work bag, and the case keeps everything snug and quiet on the commute.
